If you're a follower of mine, you've probably ran into some frequently sited pages, especially on the official Spacewaste Instagram page. If not, you're fake af, but this your chance to not be. So you better remember these names: ViewsfromtheL, Nuklir skateboards, and HYGH TV.

These are some of the faces of Canarsie Skatepark. So get used to them too because they ain't going anywhere.

Views from the L

If you're looking for shear style and artistry both on and off a skateboard, Jonathan Castro is the go to, deadass. Jon has a way of executing anything he does with a matter of style and finesse. Through his photography, through his skateboarding, even down his clothes, Jon oozes style. He emulates his stylistic expression even more through his page @ViewsfromtheL on Instagram. On this page is where you get to see a compilation of his work in photography, skateboarding, and fashion. He brings something, fresh, open, and comfortable to the table in all these realms. Never tacky or unnatural, his style in all that he does remains relaxed, calm, cool, and collected, much like himself, making his work both visually and aesthetically pleasing.

With a mixture of popular trends in streetwear and skateboarding fashion, with his own added twist and creativity, Jon perpetuates the essence of looking good and feeling good. With clothing and merch currently out, and more on the way, Jon is gonna be a fucking problem. So it would behoove yo ass to check his shit out. His page is already a link on this site as we speak so if you don't check it out you just lazy.

Nuklir Skateboards

Tony Fenice, creator of Nuklir skateboards. I've said it before, I'll say again. Tony. Fucking. Rips. End of story.

Tony is a compilation of what most skaters can only strive to be. Consistent, creative, and straight up nasty. Which makes sense since skateboarding is the focal point of his life. His crazy work ethic and his insurmountable amount of passion for skateboarding is absolutely off the charts. So it makes even more sense that he would start his own skateboarding company geared towards the nitty gritty underground skaters of NYC. If you're a Brooklyn local, you might've seen some of Tony's boards peppered all over skate shops like Skate Brooklyn. Shit, you might've met Tony himself and felt his positive energy spilling on you. Through his skateboarding and his merch, Tony continues to give nothing but unconditional love to the skateboarding community. Every board ordered, designed, and shipped by himself, he offers quality and and encouragement for all. So get off yo ass and cop a Nuklir board from him right tf now.

HYGH TV

I've heard that a skater is as good as his filmer. And while a lot of dudes think it's easy to get behind a camera and make the magic happen, let me be one to tell you, you're wrong as shit. Videography and photography are art forms that take time, effort, and practice to perfect. It's kinda crazy to think about especially when people are on skateboards holding onto thousands of dollars worth of technology in their hand, making Nick's skill in both video and photography work even more impressive.

Nick knows how to make skaters look good. Like really good, and you see the amount of time and effort that goes into his work. Adapting conventional skate video tactics, with some new tactics we see in modern videos today, added with his own personal touch that gets real close and personal, Nick's camera work is unbeatable and only getting better. As the creator of HYGY TV, it's only right that he kills with camera. You can see some of his video work right on his Instagram page.

You can see more by all of these dudes by following their Instagram pages, where you can be updated on video parts, catch clips, and even buy merchandise! So it would behoove you to check them out. What do you have to lose? Y'all have a lot to be behooved by.
